Support for reforestation in the Sauerland region

The forests in the Sauerland region have suffered greatly in recent years: periods of drought, bark beetle infestations and storms have caused widespread damage, leaving some landscapes barely recognisable.

The WaldLokal initiative is committed to reforesting these ‘moonscapes’ with native mixed forests. It enables everyone to actively contribute to sustainable reforestation – a commitment to the preservation and future of our forests.
